Madtown® Guitars is pleased to offer The Skidplate® and Skidplate® Pro. The multi-patented Skidplate is the world's first and only 3-D ergonomically advanced bolt-on neck plate and sculpted body contour design of it's kind.  A system that delivers unparalleled upper register comfort and reach.  The Skidplates are standard equipment on all Madtown® Guitars.

Inherent to  design, The Skidplates are extremely rigid and utilizes approximately 25% more material to accommodate it's shape. Thus resulting in more mass,  a rock solid neck joint, and improved sustain.
